can still a competitor be. All you need is a willing father,
and the courage to endure.

speed from his entry in the now-annual kids' autocross

into a Parade schedule, providing Parade goers yet

Peter Porsche--at his 27th Parade--is always up for
a new adventure. Texas is an obvious location to investigate
a new competitive sport with a local flavor.

Getting a good close look at the Porsche's Supercar,
the Carrera GT, was a highlight for many Parade-goers.
Brought to the Parade by PCNA, hearing the V10 engine
and seeing it driven on the track at speed by Doc
Bundy, was icing on the Carrera cake.

shows up with his own version of a flying pig.

autocrosses her 993, Jellybean, on the spacious
course set up just outside the Texas Motor Speedway.

|
Sometimes waiting for your time to run is more
nerve wracking than the run itself. Good organization
made grid times brief, and the course, laid out
on a large parking lot adjacent to the driver's
education and club race events, was tight but fast.
|
|
|
Serious rallying requires serious planning, and
Tom Gould and Joe Boucher, overall winners of the
2003 Parade rally, know all the tricks.
